ADCP measurement techniques

I use the University of Hawaii CODAS ADCP/LADCP processsing software on Mac OSX platforms. The source code is available from UH.

  • rditerm.py zipfile (python terminal program for serial communications between the LADCP and a Mac laptop)
  • I use the AutoADCP (Charlie Flagg) for unattended ADCP data collection on the quarterly cruises of the California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI). Our setup is evolving for the New Horizon, which recently acquired an OS75 which runs under VMDAS. The following are likely to change.
